Hot P'tater - Audrey is the queen of post-race revival. This Badash has laughter on her lips and fire in her spirit and stirs up comfort, chaos, and carbs that make Badashes swear they'll run this magical madness again next year.

Hot Hammie - Daniel is the keeper of the signals. This Badash keeps everyone connected when the volcano tries to swallow the signal and the runner's sanity.

This volcano is the place I fell in love with trail running. The wind in my hair, the freedom, the wild, the varying scenery...The Empowerment! This is more than a running event for me. It's a place for people to do hard and challenging things...Together...and be supported as they do them. It's a way to be in community together, to love, and support...and nourish each other. It's a thrill to put together and to have learned how to let go of all the parts and share them with others so they can shine too and bring their magic to the Spitfire. It's community, connection, compassion...with a little competition tossed in. I love my Badashes and getting to put on this event! The volcano isn't the real magic here...it's YOU...the Badash crew, the volunteers, the families/supporters...the ones who dare to show up!

F-Bomb Foreman - Carney is menace, a legend, and a softy wrapped in barbed wire. This Badash commands the South volcano and it's participants with the precision of a skilled marine...tough on the outside and soft like a post-race baked potato on the inside. (Shhh...classified information)

Hospitality Hotshot -Shaunie is the welcomer of warriors. This Badash turns chaos into comfort and exhaustion into belonging that makes dirt covered, half-delirious runners feel at home.
